Debadging a car is the process of removing all of the emblems off the exterior of your vehicle. This can be an intricate process, so we here at Brenner Collision Center want you to know how to do it correctly.

The first step of the process is loosening the adhesive used to fasten the emblems to the vehicle. Heat is generally all you need to soften the adhesive. You can deliver this heat by pouring hot water on the emblems or by using a hair dryer.

Once the adhesive is softened, you need to gently remove the emblems. Sliding dental floss, fishing line, or a credit card behind the emblem should be all you need to pop it off the vehicle. You may need to use a bit of pressure to pry the emblem off.

The last step is to clean off the excess adhesive with soap and water to get your vehicle in pristine condition before driving around Mifflintown, PA.
