Did you know that an improperly installed safety seat makes your child more vulnerable to injury during the event of a collision? At Brenner Collision Center we want you to be educated on how to correctly install your child's safety seat. So, let's go over the basics to help you keep your child safer while driving in the car.

First, remember to use the car seat that is recommended for the specific age of your child. Reading the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the car seat is mandatory.

Next, locate the existing anchors in the vehicle where you will be securing the seat. Some vehicles don't have anchors and you will have to use the seat belt. Always remember to put the car seat in the rear of the car.

Once you have installed your child's car seat, make sure to inspect your work. Test drive a family-friendly car at Brenner Collision Center.
